The executive board members and a few other rising leaders from the Cal Beta Gamma chapter ventured off to Woodland Hills, CA, this weekend for the Carlson Leadership Academy. This event- hosted by our national headquarters- serves to educate SigEps across the country on how to enhance their leadership skills for their respective positions and how to drive their chapters towards a more successful avenue. This weekend we were accompanied from SigEp chapters along the west coast ranging from the Oregon Alpha Chapter at Oregon State to the Arizona Beta Chapter at the University of Arizona. It was a great time witnessing the diversity that SigEp entails. The experience has provided us with a sense of pride about being different and striving to develop ourselves not only professionally, but also in all other aspects of life. The individuals that went on the event include Brothers Hasan Dagher, Rod Tashakori, Shane Strobel, Thomas Royston, James Lagera, Moises Moreno, Ryan Menker, and Diego Munoz. We can’t wait to see the new ideas and innovations they bring into chapter from their experience!
